Easter Sunday Skyping with Rosie

Rosie now selects her own clothes every day.  She certainly picked out a perfect Easter outfit -- so pretty in blue.  (Sorry for the poor quality of the picture.  I am just happy that Skype has been working better lately.)

Surprise Skyping with Rosie

Gus is on school vacation so we did a little Skyping.  He and Rosie are going to the zoo today so while he gathered things for their outing Rosie and I had a very nice chat.  What a happy surprise!

Poor Rosie is covered in hives -- she is apparently allergic to penicillin which she has been taking for an ear infection.  Amazingly she is sweet and silly, and doesn't seem too bothered by her ailments.  There are no hives on her face but I saw her little tummy and it is hard to believe how happy she is.  And very entertaining.  

She built towers with Legos.

She laughed -- a lot.

She told me all about the animals in her book.

Sunday Skyping with Rosie

Skyping is getting harder and harder.  Today I took just one picture, almost as soon as we started.  The video was working great and Rosie (newly recovered from an ear infection) was very entertaining.  And then my video froze -- I could hear the Portland end talking, and they could still see me, but the screen remained frozen.  This is so disappointing; time to give Skype some feedback I think.  Anyway, I'm glad we got to spend some time together.  And I am so happy that Rosie is feeling better.

Rosie looked like a princess today.  She has just received a big box of hand-me-downs and because there are so many pretty things to choose from, she is actually wearing 2 dresses, plus a layer of crinolines!
